A series of increasingly complex predator-prey models, designed to simulate ecological dynamics. Starting with the basic Lotka-Volterra model, it explores simple oscillatory relationships between predators and prey. The complexity escalates by adding features like carrying capacity for prey, competition among predators, seasonal fluctuations, and random events like natural disasters. Finally, it considers a bifurcation model that simulates a system with two prey species, highlighting critical tipping points where one species may outcompete the other. These simulations serve to deepen our understanding of population dynamics, ecosystem health, and the impact of stochastic events, ultimately helping to identify conditions that could lead to significant ecological shifts.
